Product updates and features roundup — January '22 edition

Welcome to a new year at CallRail! We’re starting off 2022 with a bang — featuring navigation updates that will help you get more value out of your CallRail data with ease. Plus, a new addition to the on-hold dialogue in Lead Center is sure to keep your customers happy and prevent hang-ups.

Navigation Updates

A freshly designed, intuitive settings menu

We’re excited to show you a first look at our streamlined navigation for the CallRail platform, releasing on January 19th, 2022. A new home for Settings will consolidate many of the pages that allow you to make updates to your app configuration. This change also helps you find CallRail features that will assist with your business needs.

After collecting customer feedback, our UX Research and Design teams were able to determine that a single settings section would provide a more natural and intuitive design — making it easier to navigate, find, and take advantage of all features available.

The Tracking and Settings tabs (currently in the top Navigation bar) will be consolidated and relocated into a new Settings section located on the left side of the app.

In the new Settings section, you'll find 3 pages in the top navigation:

  1. The Tracking page’s new home
  2. The new Workflows page
  3. The new Integrations page

These will only display in the top navigation within the new Settings section. Read more about these updates here.

Lead Center Updates

Let callers know their queue wait time

Waiting in a long line is a frustrating experience, especially if you don’t know how long your wait will be. With our new queue visibility feature, when a caller joins a call queue, they’ll be informed of how many callers are ahead of them and an estimated wait time.

With this information, callers can enter queues with the correct expectation and hear updates to their wait time in between each hold music song. There’s nothing you need to do to set this up for your account — this feature has been automatically enabled for all call queues.
